CrowdEngine Attends Crowdfunding Professional Association Event

Sep. 29, 2014 – WASHINGTON, D.C. – CrowdEngine will attend the Education Summit organized by the Crowdfunding Professional association (CfPA) which will be held at the Hogan Lovells Law Firm, Columbia Square, 555 13th Street NW in downtown Washington, D.C. from September 29 to October 1, 2014.

The Education Summit organized by the Crowdfunding Professional association (CfPA) will provide stakeholders and non-profit organizations with new information and updates to understand the ever-growing crowdfunding space.

The summit will start on the evening of Sept 29 with a dinner for the CfPA Board and Advisory Council from 7 pm to 10 pm. Registration will start on Tuesday, from 8 am to 9 am, to be followed by 30-min introductions. Then, track sessions will commence at 9 am and end at 5 pm. The topics that will be covered for the day are:

Impact of Crowdfunding – Where are We Now? Legal Status and Issues in Crowdfunding Crowdfunding for Universities and Research Institutions Box lunches and networking Intrastate and Local Crowdfunding International Crowdfunding Crowdfunding for Women and Minorities Crowdfunding and Self-Directed Retirement Accounts Open Working Group: Crowdfunding Certifications

To cap the first day’s activities, an evening reception, with a speaker, will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm. Wednesday, October 1 is a day full of consolidated sessions from 9 am to 5 pm. The topics include:

State of the CfPA Crowdfunding Success for Entrepreneurs Box lunches and networking Crowdfunding as Investment Crowdfunding for Entrepreneurship Students Attendee Input: Public, Entrepreneurs, Investors and Service Providers.
